So your room is all painted! I'm so excited about it too. Daddy did a great job! I did put up another window valance to make it fuller, but I took this picture before I did that. But I think it looks a lot better having that second valance up.
Unfortunately all of your furniture has been delayed and won't be here until between June 14 and the 21 which stinks because I won't have it here and ready for stuff until after the shower this weekend. But that's okay because I'll probably be tired after the shower on Saturday and not want to put things away, then on Sunday a few friends that couldn't make it to the shower are coming over so I'll be hanging out with them, and then the furniture will come next week and that'll give me something to do next weekend! And then everything will be in order for my other shower with Dad's family. So after that I'll have a really good idea of what we'll still need if I'm already organized.
Here is your closet with your belongings so far. I'm sure by next week it'll be completely full!
On Sunday I went to a baby shower for daddy's cousin's wife (Erica) and it got me so excited for cool baby gadgets for you that I wanted to go out and shop on Monday. But I refrained. For now I'll just save my money until after both showers and then just go shopping in July. Erica is due exactly a week before you are due to come, so you and their baby will have lots of fun playing together over the years! They don't know what they are having either, but they suspect a girl.
We've already received one gift from someone that couldn't make it to the shower this weekend. It was Mrs. B, she got us a package of washcloths, a package of diapers and a baby monitor! If we happen to get a duplicate baby monitor then I've decided I can keep one in your diaper bag for when we go places and we need to put you to sleep in a room with the door closed or what not.
