Getting the house in order

Dear Bean:
Great news! Gramma, Aunt Erin & GreatGma have all gone in and bought our crib, dresser & changing table! I'm so excited! I was worried because they're expensive and could only be bought online so I thought It'd get overlooked, but alas you will get a nice matching set in your room! It should be here between the 9th and the 14th. One of our showers is on the 12th and I really hope it comes before then so I'll be able to come home and have a place to put your clothes after they get all washed and everything! I'm really excited for the furniture to come and the shower and to organize all your neat stuff! Then we have plans just about every weekend up until you arrive so it'll seem like this summer will fly by and before you know it you'll be out of my belly and in my arms in no time! I can't wait!!!
This week I bought the paint for your room. It's a light yellow. I call it post-it note yellow but Its really called meadow rue. Last night me and daddy cleaned out a spot in our walkin closet to fit the old dresser that was in your room in there and moved the bed from your room into our computer room. So now our computer room is a little crowded, but honestly, we never use that room and in the year and a half we've lived here, only 2 people have stayed the night. So if anyone wants to stay the night with us now, they will sleep in the computer/guest room.
So now your room is completely bare. Nothing on the white walls and not one thing in there, well except you have things in the closest already just waiting for a spot on your changing table or in your dresser drawers and we do have one valance up, but we're waiting on another one to come in the mail. Daddy is going to start painting today and be done by tomorrow! He's gettin really excited now that you're room will be looking like a nursery rather than a bare spare room that I stored random junk in all the time. It's now his turn to prepare for you. I'm the researcher and organizer and he just goes with it and isn't as involved with preparing for you as I am because he didn't know what to do because mommy did it all up until now! But now it's about him! He'll paint then hopefully you're furniture comes this week and he'll be the one to put that together and then he has to make your bookshelves, and maybe even a toybox!
Well I need to go get us some breakfast! I'm thinking egg and cheese on a bagel. Enjoy!!
