You're So Smart!

Dear Teagan:
You are so smart! You're learning new things every day! Your vocabulary is really taking off too! You are so interested in books lately. You bring me or dad books to read when you are sleepy and ready for bed or a nap. Then once we finish the book I just tell you to go get another one and you go to the bookcase and grab another one and bring it to me! It's so great that you are so interested in reading!!
This weekend has been wonderful! It's been in the 70s and so nice out. Yesterday we played outside for most of the day with cousins Wyette & Willow. You loved it. You love being outside! Then you got to play with Emmy & Brayden while
we went to dinner with their parents. You guys all went to grandmas so Aunt Linny & Uncle
Tim could watch you. I think you all had fun.
We were supposed to go to Syracuse today to get you some ner shoes that'll hopefully help
you walk, but daddy said if we waited until next weekend he'd go with us, since this weekend is probably the last nice weekend for a long time. Hopefully if we get you some good walking shoes, you might want to actually walk! You're doing better and better with pushing toys around the house and pulling up and cruising the furniture. Just when it comes to standing on your own, you get scared and immediately sit
down!
Today you pooped on the potty! You took a shower with me and I got out and was drying off, I heard the unmistakable sound of you trying to poop. So I quick opened the door and grabbed you out. I plopped you down on the toilet and let you do your business. You weren't nearly as excited about pooping on the potty as I was for you. I mean, I didn't have to clean poop
off the shower floor (again) and I saved a diaper! Two scores for mommy!! :-)
Okay, while you lay in my bed snoring away, I should go make that apple sauce I promised you I would make!!
