Dear Vivian:
Last night I was in Teagan's room getting his pajamas on him and you were getting yours on with Daddy and I heard you laugh out loud for the first time. It was the cutest little laugh. I'm sad that I didn't get to see it because I was busy and by the time I got in there you had stopped. I tried the rest of the night and this morning to get you to laugh for me and daddy kept trying to get you to laugh again and you weren't. Oh well, I know you will again eventually.
So last week Daddy was laid off. But he found another job at a different company and started back at work on Monday. But while he has his week off you stayed home with him Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and I took Teagan to daycare and then on Thursday you went to daycare and Teagan got to have his day home with Daddy. Then Friday daddy got a day home to himself and you both when to hang out at Grandma's with Grandpa and Aunt Linny.
Like I may have said before, I was concerned about how much you'd get held and how much interaction you'd get at daycare because of all the other kids, but I think you're doing great there! Yesterday Jenn said you did tummy time and practiced sitting up. Daddy put you in the Bumbo seat that my friend Brianna gave us from her girls and you sat up okay in it, but your head just isn't quite strong enough to stay up for any length of time. So you pretty much slouched over in it.
Things are still crazy when we get home at night. Last week was great with daddy laid off because he had time to get things done and start or make dinner. He's still really helpful when it comes to me asking him to do things though. I feel bad asking him to do all this stuff, but he has like 2 more hours to do things at night than I do....and I don't get time to rest so why should he?! I get up an hour or more earlier than him and sometimes am up for up to an hour during the night if you decide you need a snack or Teagan has to pee or needs some milk or the dog needs out or whatever.
Time to head out of here and come pick you guys up!!
I love you to the moon and back baby girl!!
Love,
Mommy
